NEW CLASSES FOR WINTER 2012
FRIDAY TEEN CLASS
The Children's Art Studio will offer a class for teens on Fridays from 4:30 - 5:30.
Because we follow the DCPS calendar, we will meet on the following days:
January 13, 27
February 10, 17, 24
March 2, 9, 16
The cost for the eight meetings is $215.
We hope your teen will join us!
SATURDAY MORNING CLASS, MINI SESSION
The Children's Art Studio will offer a class on Saturday mornings from 10-12.
All ages welcome, (5 and up). We will meet Jan 14, 21, 28 and Feb 4.
The cost for the eight hour session is $200.
Drop ins welcome at $50.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Children's Art Studio is now certified by the District of Columbia Office of State Superindendent for Education (OSSE) to provide professional development for teachers. If you would like to participate in a rewarding workshop that will inspire you to provide exceptional art instruction in your class, please join us in a retreat setting to explore how art instruction can spark creativity in our children. You will learn effective art-making techniques which help you to weave art in your classroom activities.
The Children's Art Studio will host a series of Teacher Workshops:
Saturday March 24th 10am - 2pm: Printing
Saturday April 28th 10am - 2pm: Collage
Saturday May 12th 10amm -2pm: Nature
The cost for each Workshop is $110.
All interested adults are welcome.
