Birthday parties at the CAS are designed to be a simple, child-centered, private art lesson.  CAS birthday parties are best suited for children aged four (4) and up.  Each party lasts 90 minutes and a teacher and two wonderful assistants guide the children through a fun, stimulating art-making project that also serves as a party favor.

The party starts with a warm-up exercise as the party participants arrive and adjust to the studio environment.  We dive into the main project which is structured to be substantial and enriching, using the highest quality, ecologically-friendly art materials.  We can discuss and agree upon the project prior to the party.

The party ends with a short song and cake celebration.  While the art-instruction component of the party is strictly "drop-off" with exception of the primary parents, we encourage all families to come and participate in the singing and cutting of the cake!  We close the party by gently guiding the children to collect their art work and say good bye on a happy note!

We ask you bring your cake or cupcakes of choice and we will provide filtered water and cups.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the party, sit back, enjoy your child's special day, and enjoy the special moments!

The fee for birthday parties are $350 for up to ten children, with an additional fee of $20 per additional child.  Birthdays are ideally scheduled for Saturday afternoons or mornings.  Please email us to reserve a date and time.  

The CAS takes pride in putting green environmental principles into practice.  We request that parties not include juice boxes, ballons, snacks or excessive decorations.
